1st one was with using soft and transmitted light with the hard light dropped below the horizon to capture the colorful lay of the snow to the left.
2nd: Appears to be floating. This was done by capturing the shadow to the left and increasing the amount of light to the right. The hard light came through the glassware to give a soft beam cascading the front of the subject.
3rd: Same as number 2 but with Cokin filter held in front of the lens to add color and contrast.
4th: final shot..using subtle soft light and the tree’s to frame the glassware. A small touch of hard light via the sun to the left highlighting the true colors of the glass.
