Well aside from this nasty flu it was a great weekend around these parts..Clear beautiful sunny skies, moderate temps around the mid to lower 50’s..It was an opportunity to grab the camera and go.. So I did…lol.
I spent the majority of the day visiting apple orchards, railroad tracks and a few waterways. Just enjoying the weather and the opportunity to just relax and shoot things of interest.
A few random shots:
I came across an old Granite Quarry in a small town and decided to romp around there for a spell, I took a few interesting shots. My ability to get to many areas was limited due to the snow and ice still present and the fact that there is a drop off of about 75 -100 feet at any given spot along the pathway.. The water was still frozen with partial openings close to the edges of the quarry.
I walked approx. 4 miles or so of the railroad tracks and finally came upon a few boxcars that were left behind and thos made for a few good shots and as most rail cars go.. there was an ubundance of grafitti to amuse and inspire..
All in all it was a great weekend and opportunity to get out and enjoy. Spent the remainder of the evening editing and suffering with this damn flu going around.
