THIS IS NOT A TORNADO….THANKFULLY!

Tornadic activity seems to be spread across the country from the Midwest all the way to the Eastern seaboard. Well here n Maine we are usually spared these type events due to altitude and mountainous ranges that break up the majority of any kind of tornadic system, seldom having an actual tornado in these parts. We have seen some develop over the past couple years but by no comparison the degree of those passing through the midwest this week.

We had a storm cloud brewing here over the ridge in my neighborhood yesterday that mimicked a tornado looking event.. very ominous indeed, It looked as though there was a vortex, spout, and debris..but alas.. just a very disturbing looking cloud that brought not even a single drop of rain… I couldn’t resist taking the shot though… you know you get that urge… well I got it..lol.

Here is the shot….followed by a graceful but dark sunset in the eve..
